The weather is Nottinghamshire has not been good for a few weeks now and we are still struggling with hard frosts, ice and snow. Our horses are still in work however, we really do appreciate everybody's patience in waiting for our menage to thaw out before you can try our horses. Today we have been hiring indoor arenas to keep the horses ticking over nicely. We will be more than happy to do this for you should you wish to try one of our horses before the weather clears up.

Dana Flint and her new pony, Platinum Cruise Control have now entered their first dressage competition to be held in a few weeks. Both are practising very hard and we look forward to bringing you their results and photos very soon.

Platinum Top Gun and Gunner went showjump training today at Eland Lodge. Both jumped exceptionally well and will be out showjumping within the next week.

The festive season is upon us, we cannot believe this year has passed us by so quickly. We are still open during normal hours over the Christmas Period, however, we will be closed on Christmas and Boxing Day.

Today we have taken Platinum Top Gun and Platinum Gunner showjumping and both horses produced double clears in the 1m class. Both were exceptionally behaved and are super competiton prospects. Please visit the For Sale page on our website for further details on these horses.

We have heard from Esme Girwood and Platinum Sea Hawk (Smartie) from Jersey and Smartie has settled into his new home on the island very well. Both Esme and Smartie are having regular lessons with the Pony Club and can't wait for the season the begin next year.

Platinum Skyline has been sold this week and wil now be competing in all disciplines with his new owner, Gemma. Gemma is delighted with her new horse and decribes him as 'perfect'... we wish them both the very best of luck together in the future!

Sambizi, our super coloured Sports Horse has now been sold to Jo Olive. Jo intends to compete him in Dressage competitons in the future. We will keep you updated with their results and wish them all the best.

We have a new young jockey joining our team, who will be riding any ponies we have offered for sale. Her name is Dana Flint, she is 11 years old and she will be out and about with us at competitions over the winter season. Please keep an eye out for her on her new pony Platinum Cruise Control aka Diesel.

We have heard from Stephanie Henderson and Platinum Flyer. She has settled in very well into her new home and the combination are busy competing in dressage and showjumping competitions. Steph described Shannon as 'the perfect horse' and we look forward to hearing more news and results from them both.

We are pleased to tell you that Platinum SeaHawk aka Smartie has been sold to his new owner, Esme Girwood who lives in Jersey. Smartie arrived safely on the Island and has settled in very well. Esme is looking forward to competing in Pony Club competitions along with lots of beach riding!! We wish them both the very best of luck.

We are pleased to tell you that Platinum Jetstream has settled in well in her new home with Katie Heath. Katie and Minnie (competing under the name Minnie Dancer) are now successfully competing in BE events including Draycott House, Somerford Park, Kelsall Hill and Rodbaston. We look forward to bringing you their further results and competition photographs.

We have four very promising horses arriving from Ireland next week. A super 15.2hh coloured gelding, a 15.1hh grey Connemara x TB gelding who is a fantastic Pony Club prospect, a 15.2hh bay allround gelding and a 16.1hh allrounder. Today Platinum Flyer sailed through her 5 stage vetting and has gone to her new home with Stephanie Henderson and family. Shannon could not have found a better home and we look forward to seeing them on the competition circuit very soon!! We wish them all the best of luck with Shannon!

Platinum Flyer attended a dressage competition today at Eland Lodge and produced two lovely tests with very pleased comments from each of the judges. The weather was awful but she finished 2nd in the both the Prelim and Novice classes.| June 30, 2008 |
We are pleased to tell you that Platinum Jetstream, the 15hh Connemara x TB has been sold. She has been sold to Katie Heath who purchased her within 24 hours of her being advertised. Katie rode her beautifully and has recently started working in a professional event yard so is looking forward to competing 'Secret' in forthcoming BE Events. We wish them all the very best of luck and look forward to bringing you their competition results in the future.

Platinum Imp now known as Impertinence is consistently producing double clears in her first season of BE. She finished 4th in a PN at Wiltshire College and 7th at Moreton yesterday each time completing on her dressage score. We look forward to bringing you more news on this promising young horse.
Platinum Playboy completed in his first Hunter Trial yesterday and his new owner, Fran Moorhouse was delighted with how he performed. They are looking forward to a competative eventing career together and are now being consistently placed in dressage competitions.

Platinum Flyer competed in her first Hunter Trial today with Sarah Blount and finished respectable seventh out of a very large field. She was a pleasure to do in every way and was much admired by fellow competitors and spectators!!!

Platinum Flyer went XC schooling today and proved to be a real XC Machine! She jumped everything asked of her including ditches, banks, drops, steps and water. Impertinence formerly known as Platinum Imp is doing incredibly well with her new jockey, Lucienne Elms. They are producing consistent double clears in British Eventing and were placed sixth yesterday in their Pre Novice section at Morreton Morrell Horse Trials.

We heard today that Platinum Ladies Man and his new jockey, Christie Bratherton are now entered for the 153cms Show Hunter Pony Class at Cheshire County Show.
They are also aiming to qualify for the North West Showjumping Championships. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to bringing you their results.
We are proud to tell you that we are training aspiring new actor, James MacColl to ride and handle horses. James made his big screen debut in 'The Duchess' along side Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes and has also been spotted recently in 'Hollyoaks'. James is now aiming for a role in a period drama and is proving very keen upon horseback! Keep your eye on our news page and we will keep you updated!

We are delighted to tell you that Frequent Flyer, the little grey mare you may know from BYEH qualifers and the Eventing circuit is now back in work after a long term illness. Keep an eye out for her competing this season!
We have recently purchased a lovely Irish Sport Horse mare who will be Eventing and competing in the BYEH qualifiers very soon.
She is called Platinum Flight and we look forward to bringing you her competition results very soon!
Congratulations to Fran Moorhouse and Platinum Playboy. They are now successfully competing and at their last outing gained 68% in their test. It’s looking promising for a successful season ahead.
