"Smartie has just completed 3 x 1.5hr sessions with a UK instructor brought over to Jersey by Pony Club, and I must say he did really well. I think Alison, the instructor, developed a soft spot for him! The first two sessions were in an indoor school, but that didn't phase him, one day was dressage-based, the next, show-jumping, and he proved himself a very honest little chap, trying really hard and learning quickly. Today they had instruction over a cross country course, and he really loved it!! Es was going to take Megan, but the instructor said to bring Smartie as it would be good experience for him.....he thought he was the bees knees, trotting around Arab-style at first, all flounce and bounce, but he really did well once they got down to it. Alison sent Es over the smallest jumps, with a lead from a friend, but Smartie quickly showed how bold and willing he is. So thank you very much for the ground work you have done on him, and for spotting his potential and bringing him over from Ireland!! He really is a darling, and Es was beaming ear to ear by the end of the session"

“Having spent the best part of two months travelling the length and breadth of the country to find a horse suitable for a nervous novice I came across Emma's advert for Mole. A friend contacted Emma in the first instance and rang me to say he sounded "perfect" for me. I rang and made an appointment to view and try Mole. We were made very welcome at the yard and were immediately put at ease. Mole was presented in tip top condition and when Emma rode him he didn't put a foot wrong. I must admit that he was just what I had been looking for since he was exactly as "described on the tin!!". I have owned Mole now for 5 months and have no regrets at all he is a horse in a billion and I love him to bits!! If you are looking for something special I would highly recommend Emma's services since she has an eye and an intuiton about horses and matches horse and rider perfectly.”

"I’ve finally got a couple of decent photos of Bruno so thought I would scan them and send you a copy.
We’re getting on great. I had a lesson last week and jumped a course of 95cm jumps. That’s more than I ever imagined I would do so I’m really pleased. Gone is my fear of stopping to a dead halt. I can’t wait now till the cross country courses are open for hiring again as I’m raring to have a go now.
